DGR Aviation Training Services was established in 2022 in Dubai, approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA). Our commitment to excellence and in-depth knowledge of the aviation safety and security industry has helped us in establishing ourselves as the benchmark in Dangerous Goods regulations training.
We provide all aspects of Dangerous Goods training by air, meeting local, national, and international standards based on customer needs so that they can manage their operations with full confidence that their employees have all the required knowledge, skills, and aptitude to legally handle any Dangerous Goods shipment.

We offer training across all thirteen GCAA-approved functions, from 4.1.A to 4.1.M, delivered by approved instructors at our Dubai training centre or at your facility. Vision
A Safer GCC Air Cargo Chain Where Dangerous Goods Never Move Unrecognised
Undeclared and misdeclared dangerous goods remain the single largest cause of preventable air cargo incidents. We exist to close that gap at the point it opens — the person packing the box, accepting the consignment, or loading the hold.
Mission
Training that survives an audit, not just a training day
We deliver every GCAA CBTA function to the standard the regulator sets: instructor-led, assessed on Knowledge, Skills and Attitude at an 80% pass mark, certified against the applicable course code, and diarised so recurrent training happens before the certificate lapses rather than after.
Quality Assurance
Approved by the General Civil Aviation Authority to conduct Dangerous Goods regulations training.
An approved organisation
We hold GCAA approval as a Training Organisation for Dangerous Goods, and recognition from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Our programmes are accredited by IATA.
Approved instructors
Every course is led by a GCAA-approved instructor holding the 4.1.A Dangerous Goods Training Instructor function, with operational experience in the roles being trained.
Assessed to the standard
Participants are assessed on Knowledge, Skills and Attitude under the CBTA framework, at the 80% pass mark the regulator sets — 90% for a distinction.
Records that stand up
Certificates name the GCAA course code for the function performed and run 24 months. We hold the training records and flag each recurrent window before it closes.

Courses are delivered against the latest applicable edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and current GCAA requirements — not last year's slides.

The function, named
Every certificate carries the GCAA course code for the function performed, so an auditor can match the person to the job to the approval.

Your operation, not a generic one
On-site delivery uses your own packaging, documentation and acceptance checklists as the worked examples.

The expiry, tracked
Certificates run 24 months. We record the expiry at certification and flag the recurrent window before it closes.
