Frequently asked

Who needs GCAA 4.1.E training?
Personnel responsible for handling and storing cargo or mail in a warehouse, loading and unloading ULDs, and loading and unloading aircraft cargo compartments. It also covers staff acting as Dangerous Goods Post Holder for air operators, including no-carry operators, ground handling agents, helicopter operators, designated postal operators, freight forwarders and packaging suppliers.
How long is the 4.1.E course?
Initial training runs 2 days. It is delivered at the DGR Aviation training centre in Port Saeed, Dubai, and is frequently run in-house at cargo terminals so that shift teams can be trained without leaving the facility.
What is the difference between 4.1.E and 4.1.C?
4.1.E is for staff who store, load and unload consignments, including dangerous goods, in the warehouse and on the ramp. 4.1.C is for staff who process and accept general cargo and mail that are not dangerous goods, and focuses on detecting hidden and undeclared items at acceptance.
Can the courses in this bundle be booked separately?
Yes. Each course can be booked on its own: 4.1.D, 4.1.E, 4.1.G. The bundle schedules them back-to-back.
Can this bundle be delivered at our facility?
Yes. Any GCAA function can be delivered at your site across the UAE, on your shift pattern, using your own packaging, documentation and incident history as the worked examples.
How long are the certificates valid?
Twenty-four months from the date of issue. We flag the renewal window ahead of expiry so recurrent training is booked before the certificates lapse.
